What an incredible day full of fun, laughter, and joy!
Picnic at Playland was such an amazing day- 3,500 kids with special needs arrived bright and early to enjoy an amusement park reserved just for them. They had an afternoon full of rides and roller-coasters, hot dogs and ice cream, and live music and friendly characters to greet them.
Seeing a park full of smiling, care-free kids inspires us to make each year’s Picnic better than the last. With so many fantastic and exciting components of the day we would not have been able to achieve this event without the generosity of our prominent sponsors: Odlum Brown, CanWel Building Materials Ltd., Beedie, and Anthem Properties.
We hope that everyone who attended had as much as fun as we did. Thank you to all of our volunteers, PNE Playland, our donors, all of the mascots and characters, and everyone who contributed to Picnic at Playland- we appreciate you!
